Almost every time I try to sign into my accounts when I'm in a new location (be it a new coffee shop, someone else's house, a hotel, etc.), a message comes up that says, 'Verify it's you: This device isn't recognized. There has been this weird new thing that began out of the blue a few months ago with my accounts that has been driving me insane. So like many people, I have multiple gmail accounts for a variety of reasons.
